Welcome to the Ruthven House where you will discover your perfect highland getaway.  Ruthven House provides excellent bed and breakfast accommodation or if you prefer something more private and secluded, we have two cosy cottages with their own private driveway.

We want to offer you a heartfelt invitation to enjoy our home and to make it your “home from home” for the duration of your stay with us.

We offer guests 4 Star Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the main house and also have two cosy Self Catering Cottages, (Creag Bheag and Creag Dhubh, carefully converted from a former steading) with their own private parking and a large lawned garden to the front. Each cottage has patio doors leading out to a private seating area.

As you step through the front door, you’ll be welcomed into our spacious entrance hall. This floor accommodates our Guest Dining Room and our Guest Bedroom, Gynack, which has a king sized bed with your own private bathroom just next door.  This room was refurbished in February 2017 and now has a 39″ flat screen TV.   We also have a second Guest Bedroom, Feshie, which can be a twin or king bedded room on the 1st Floor with en suite facilities.   Tea and coffee making facilities are available in your room but please feel free to make use of the dining room with large screen TV throughout your stay.  Internet access is available to guests staying in the main house.   Full Scottish Breakfast is served in the dining room, normally between 8am – 10am.  Please just let us know the night before what time you require breakfast.

In the event that you have not brought a favourite book with you, we have a good selection for you to browse through.

In the warmer months you are also more than welcome to enjoy our garden, shaded by the rare and ancient Wych Elm Tree.

If you wish a newspaper in the morning, please just let us know the night before and we will happily collect this for you.

If there is anything we can do to help, any advice we can offer about the attractions and activities in the area, you only have to ask. If you do happen to get caught in the rain (yes, it can happen), never fear, we have facilities to get any of your damp clothing dry.

4 Star
