Valerie and Ian Forsyth who after 40 years in the Hotel Trade have downsized to Minaig where using our experience we offer you a Warm Highland Welcome at Minaig on the Shores of Loch Linnhe.

We are situated on the shore of beautiful Loch Linnhe with superb views of the Argour Hills and Mountains. We are situated approx one mile from Fort William Centre a pleasant stroll alongside Loch Linnhe.

We are well situated for exploring the West Highlands you can go West to Mallaig and Skye, South West to the Ardumurchan Peninsular, North to Fort Augustus and Inverness passing alongside Loch Ness East to Aviemore  passing through the Monarch of The Glen Country.

Minaig bed and breakfast offers a warm welcome and a comfortable room for your stay in Fort William. Our family home is a 15 minute stroll to the town centre with fine loch views all the way.

We have two ensuite bedrooms with lots of home comforts. One has a great view of Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Mountains, the other looks out onto the garden with side view of Loch Linnhe. Both rooms have TV and tea/coffee and home-made Shortbread/Gingerbread.

Car parking

Free Car Parking is available at the side of the House. Please lock your car and remove all valuables as we cannot accept responsibility for any losses or damage.

Television

We have Freeview with a large selection of channels; Channels 1 to 5 most viewed please consider other guests with the volume of the Television.

Extras

  • Hair Dryers
  • Extra Blankets
  • Extra Pillows
  • Extra Tea/Coffee etc are available on request.

Departure

Guests are requested to Vacate Rooms by 10.00 am on day of departure.

Pets Welcome

Well behaved Dogs are allowed in the Bedrooms with their own Blanket /Basket. A nominal charge (50p per paw) is made for all dogs that are residents.

Standard

Every effort is made to provide Guests with good Facilities and Service. Any suggestions that you have on this matter will be welcomed.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served 7.45am to 9.00am. It would helpful if it is convenient to let us know when you would like served. Should you wish an early start Continental Breakfast is available on request from 7am.
