Welcome to Haymans Ghyll

The house is a 300 year old beamed cottage with a reception room and conservatory for your use. There is an open fire for an extra glow – we also have central heating!

We have two letting bedrooms, one en-suite at the back of the house overlooking the garden. The second is also located at the rear of the house and has sole use of a bathroom. The garden is large with a lawned area surrounded by trees, flowers, and two ponds, vegetables further down and a small outdoor pool, unheated but a welcome cool down in summer!

The house chickens (6), that hopefully will provide your breakfast are at the bottom of the garden clucking and enjoying dust baths – there is no cockerel so there’s no noise or ‘in fighting’. There are numerous seating areas including a decked area covered by a vine and you are welcome to sit or swim wherever you like and make good use of the garden.

We are located in the heart of the village so have easy access to all the local shops – co-op, butcher, chemist, gift shop etc. But, more importantly there are three pubs, all serving food, a fish and chip shop and chinese all within two minutes walk of the cottage.

Breakfast

We are happy to provide breakfast as early as you like. If you’re on the ‘red eye’ run from Humberside to Amsterdam, then we’ll send you off feeling good!!

We cook the last breakfast at 9am and are happy to fit in with any eating requirements you may have.
