Welcome to Combe Lancey Farmhouse – an historic 12th century manor house set in an attractive and mature garden in a peaceful rural setting and surrounded by its own fields, yet close to the A377.

We are situated in Mid Devon 1 mile from Sandford, adjacent to Crediton, close to Exeter and Tiverton, making it an ideal base from which to visit Devon’s countryside, its beaches, the National Parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor, the Two Moors Way.

We offer:

  • One Double room en-suite which can accommodate an additional single bed or cot
  • One Twin or Family room en-suite which can accommodate four single beds and a cot

Both rooms are en-suite and have free WiFi, television, tea and coffee making facilities. Hair dryers and ironing facilities are also available

The separate breakfast room provides individual tables and looks over the formal front garden with its pretty flower beds. A traditional farmhouse breakfast, or alternative if requested, is served using local produce.

Spacious and secure on site parking is provided for cars, motorbikes and bikes.

Table football is available in the breakfast room; table tennis and a pool table are provided in the Old Stable. A large lawn overlooking the orchard with table and chairs is provided for guests to enjoy. There is local access to public tennis/squash courts and swimming pool.

Combe Lancey is a working sheep and cattle farm of 151 acres. Public footpaths provide traffic-free walking to both Sandford and Crediton, each about 1 mile.

Crediton and Sandford have a broad selection of eating places and there are a number of delightful pubs nearby serving food and a variety of real ales.

French, German and Dutch also spoken.
