Kempton Park Racecourse

Located at Sudbury-on-Thames in the county of Surrey, Kempton Racecourse is 16 miles from the centre of London. It was opened in 1872 in the 210 acres of Kempton Manor. It hosts both Flat racing and National Hunt racing events, including the King George VI Chase which is held on Boxing Day. It has an all-weather synthetic track and floodlighting, allowing it to be used under all conditions.

Like many other racecourses, the venue can be hired for other events including exhibitions, corporate conference, weddings and family events.

Travel to the course is via the A308 and the racecourse is situated between Sunbury-on-Thames and Hampton Court. It is just less than one mile from junction 1 of the M3. The racecourse has its own railway station and trains run every half hour to Kempton Park Station from Waterloo.
