City of Manchester Stadium

This 47,000 seater stadium was originally built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games and was afterwards converted for use as a football stadium. It is now the home of Manchester City Football Club. As its name suggests it is located in the city of Manchester. The stadium is bowl shaped with two tiers all the way around and a third tier along the two sides.

Outside of the football season, the stadium is one of the largest music venues with a crowd capacity of 60,000. With purpose built conference and exhibition facilities, the City of Manchester Stadium can host a wide range of corporate, private and business function, exhibition, meetings and special events. The Stadium is also licensed for marriages.

The stadium is located on Alan Turing Way (A6010). Postcode for Sat Nav is M11 3FF. Manchester can be a confusing city to drive around so if your not familiar with the city, either use Sat Nav or park in the city and take any of the bus lines. Travel by rail to the stadium via Manchester Piccadilly Station (20 minutes walk) or by buses line 216, 217, 230, 231, 232. 233, 234, 235, 236, 237, X36 and X37.
