Aberlemno (Obar Leamhnach) is a small village in the Scottish area of Angus and is 6 miles nnorth east of Forfar.
Local interest
Aberlemno has three ancient pictish stones, including one considered to be the finest example of pictish stone carving. It has a celtic cross on one face and a carving showing the Battle of Nechtansmere in 685 ad where the invading Northumbrian King Ecfrith and his army were wiped out.
