Bevan House is set in delightful Welsh countryside, within easy walking distance of the peaceful village of Hundred House. It is five miles from the Royal Welsh showground and eleven miles from the famous book town of Hay-on-Wye. Bevan House is a three bedroomed cottage which is comfortable and well equipped for up to seven people. Outside, guests can relax in the private and secluded garden with our new decked area and hot tub. The views from the windows are of rolling fields and Welsh hills.

The lovely Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells is just seven miles away. And the memorable Elan Valley dams and reservoirs just a little further. Walking, cycling, exploring fascinating towns, enjoying nature at its unspoilt best, or simply relaxing - there is something for everyone! There are plenty of friendly country pubs within a few miles of Bevan House offering old fashioned service and a welcoming atmosphere. The Hundred House Inn is within easy walking distance and serves excellent food.

Bevan House is a detached house in the rural heart of Mid Wales. It is easily accessible as it is located on the A481 just outside the village of Hundred House. The house is well furnished and has all the modern facilities to make your holiday comfortable and stress-free. The living room has a comfortable suite and a flat screen television. There is a log burner so that the room is really cosy in winter. A perfect place to stretch out and relax! The window overlooks the front garden making the room light and airy throughout the year. The dining room looks out over the front garden. It has a Parkray fire and a dark wood dining suite for six people. There is a kitchen and utility room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, freezer and washer/drier. There is plenty of storage space and drying facilities in the utility room.

The main bedroom is at the front of the house and has a king sized zip and link bed allowing for maximum versatility in sleeping arrangements. There is a television which has a separate feed giving users their own programme choice. The bedroom overlooks fields and hills beyond.The second bedroom is at the back of the house and has a comfy double bed. It overlooks the fields of nearyby Bryncoch Farm. The third bedroom has an attractive set of wooden bunk beds and its own television. It is equally ideal for youngsters or adults. The bedroom is at the front of the house with view of the garden and the hills beyond. The bathroom has a bright modern bath with a shower over it. It is on the upstairs floor of the house. There are also toilet facilities downstairs, together with cloakroom space for outdoor clothes and footwear. Outside there is a decked area with a hot tub with jets and lights and can seat 6 guests. The perfect place to relax after a day walking or sightseeing around the Elan Valley Dams.

There is room for children to play, and also a barbecue area. Guests have a lockable garage and parking for additional cars. All power and fuel is included. We are sorry we do not accept pets.

Bevan House is very easy to reach, being situated on the A481, on the Builth Wells side of the village of Hundred House.

From Builth Wells: Take the A481 from Builth Wells for 4 miles. Go past the Forest Fields camping site. Bevan House is on the left, 1/2 mile further on.

From Knighton: Take the B4355/B4357 to the A44. Turn right onto the A44. Turn left onto the A481. Bevan House is on the right, just after the village of Hundred House.

From Newtown: Take the A483 south. At Penybont turn left on the A44. Turn right on the A481. Bevan House is on the right, just after the village of Hundred House.
