Home
River Walk has been our family home for over 30 years. We have run it as a bed and breakfast business for several years. With this in mind we like to ensure our guests are coming to a friendly homelike environment, whether for one night or for a quiet few days away.
The location of River Walk is in a very quiet part of the busy market town of Bakewell, right in front of the river Wye, where ducks and wildlife can be seen and fed just at the bottom of our well-maintained garden.
To walk into Bakewell, cross over the Packhorse Bridge, which can be seen from our home. The walk takes about 6 minutes where there are a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Accommodation
We have 2 double rooms and 1 twin room. All the rooms are en-suite, decorated and furnished to a high standard, with T.V, Hospitality Trays and towels provided as standard.
Twin Room: The Twin Room has a walk in shower and a separate toilet and washbasin and is very spacious for a twin room.
Double Room 1: This room overlooks the garden and the river. It is a very light, cosy room with separate bath-en-suite facilities.
Double Room 2: This room is a ground floor double room newly built, with shower en-suite. You are sure of a good nights sleep and you can awake refreshed to the gentle sound of a flowing river.Discounts

River Walk B & B is commited to ensure appropriate accomodation service for prospective guests with disabilities.
Due to the layout of River Walk we lack facilities for guests with severe mobility limitations. We welcome any enquiries from guests with disabilities so we can discuss their needs and all reasonable attempts will be made to meet these.
We have 1 ground floor room with a small step at the back door.

Leisure
There are a variety of things to do in the Peak District with Chatsworth house and Haddon Hall a five-minute drive away. There are plenty of nice places to walk all starting from the River Walk, or just have a stroll into town and visit the busy market on Mondays.
You can even relax on a nice day in our garden.
