Experience countryside living, breathe real fresh air, and wake up to the songs of the birds.

Our comfortable self-catering accommodation, Owlett and Piglet Cottages, are set on the edge of our own 50 acre pine forest, also bordering Owlett Plantation Woodland Trust Forest in beautiful Lincolnshire. There are open views to the front over large grass fields, which are ideal for ball games/golf practice. Perfect for quiet breaks in the country.

Around the cottages there are plenty of scenic walks where local wildlife deer/fox/rabbits and owl are commonly seen. A walker's paradise.

Each cottage has LPG central heating with coal effect gas stove for the cosy break even in winter. Freeview TV, DVD, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, large walk in shower and a 5ft Queen Anne bed. Piglet Cottage has the added attraction of a 12-jet double jacuzzi.

The cottages can sleep up to 8 when booked together.

This is a working arable farm (no livestock). You are welcome to enjoy the big open spaces, walk the fields or forest paths, and experience the freedom of getting back to nature ... or you can just relax and watch others work while you enjoy your holiday!

By Car: On the main A159 Scunthorpe to Gainsborough road, go to Blyton. Follow signs to East Stockwith at the southern Gainsborough end of Blyton, turning right. Go down a steepish hill with a left turn at bottom followed by a right approx 400m on. Follow narrow lane to a T-junction. Turn right along Laughton Lane approx 1/2 mile and Holme Farm cottages are on your right down a short lane.

We have two cottages, Owlett and Piglet.

Each cottage has LPG central heating together with a coal effect gas stove so they are cosy even in the coldest winter.

Both cottages have Freeview TV, a DVD player, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, large walk in shower and a 5ft Queen Anne bed.

Owlett Cottage
Sleeps 4 in two bedrooms. No cot available. Linen provided. Pets allowed by arrangement. Smoking not allowed.

Piglet Cottage
Sleeps 4 in two bedrooms. No cot available. Linen provided. Pets allowed by arrangement. Smoking not allowed.

Holme Farm Cottages are available all year.

    Leisure

    Cycle routes in the immediate vicinity include rides through Laughton Forest or by the River Trent banks, making the cottages ideal for cyclists.

    Close by are Wharton Hall Farm Park / Blyton Ice Cream and approx 3 miles to the Market town of Gainsborough which includes The Old Hall, swimming etc at the Leisure Centre, Heritage Centre and the recently opened Marshall’s Yard shopping Centre.

    Further afield approx 25 miles to the Historic town of Lincoln and 35 to the east coast Cleethorpes.

    Fishing/golf/shooting school and horse riding all locally.
