What better way to spend a relaxing holiday than in our 3 star holiday cottage 'Waterside', a 100 year old detached cottage set in a working boatyard, perfect for guests wishing to sit and relax while watching the boats, and experience a different kind of holiday.
Set in a working boatyard, Waterside is perfect for families wishing to experience a different kind of holiday, with lots of boats coming and going. It is a 20-minute walk from a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants, and 25 minutes to a leisure centre. Situated on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, there are many National Trust properties, and other historic sights and places of interest, nearby. Alternatively, we can provide a list of local day boats available for hire.
The cottage sleeps up to 11. Facilities include an oak beamed lounge with log fire, conservatory and terrace. Farmhouse style kitchen, 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Large boatyard grounds with small, private back garden with barbecue and picnic bench and front terrace with table and chairs. There is parking for 4 cars outside cottage, further cars can be left in the car park.

By Car: We are on the Grand Union Canal at Linslade. Arriving by road, leave Leighton Buzzard through Linslade on the A4146 (Stoke Road) signposted to Milton Keynes, Bletchley & Stoke Hammond, after half a mile turn right down Rothschild Road. The boatyard is at the end of Rothschild Road.
By Train: The boatyard is fifteen minutes walk from the Railway station. Leighton Buzzard is on the main railway line from London (Euston) to Birmingham and the North West and has a frequent train service.
