The Old Workshop near the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire/Warwickshire borders.
Beautiful barn conversion in the "Heart of England" Quiet rural location but in easy reach of all amenities. Central for Shakespeares country, Warwick Castle, Silverstone, the Midlands canal network and numerous National Trust properties. The property is located on a small holding with miniature ponies, pygmy goats, free range poultry, ducks and a peacock called "Bob". See "About" for more information.
It took us ten years to complete the renovation and conversion of the Old Workshop. We are quite sure that you will love it, assuming that you like peace and quiet and the lovely rural countryside surrounding the property. There are free range chickens, ducks and a peacock wandering around the place, the cockerel does crow, and the peacock screeches at dawn in May and June. There are some very cute tiny ponies and goats grazing in the paddocks. There is a large attractive garden and off road parking space. The cottage is entered through french windows into a large and beautiful farmhouse style kitchen/lounge. Digital Tv/DVD and Wireless Internet. Also on the ground floor is a utility/laundry drying room and a toilet/wash room. A separate snug with sofabed can provide extra accomodation. A old pine wood staircase leads to a spacious bright and airy double bedroom with a double bed. A second bedroom has twin single beds and there is an attractive shower room with hand basin and toilet. The whole property has underfloor heating. Feel free to make any enquiry about the facilities. Cyclists and Walkers welcome and secure storage for bicycles provided.
No smoking and no pets please. Children under 7 by arrangement.
