Home

Luxury self catering holiday accommodation situated in Thursford, North Norfolk. Pub/restaurant within walking distance. Shop 2 miles. Converted from an 18th C barn by the owners, Les and Sheena Walton, the three cottages are ideally situated to discover the unspoilt beauty of the North Norfolk Coast at nearby Wells, Blakeney and Cley (8-9 miles) as well as the many inland attractions that the area has to offer.

The cottages have been developed and equipped to a high standard of comfort and are designed to be family friendly. We operate a unique pricing policy which is strictly seasonally based (except for Christmas and Easter ) with no price uplifts for half term holidays and a " smoothed out" summer tariff which does not penalise guests with children.

Originally a traditional Norfolk red brick and flint barn, the cottages have been tastefully converted during 2002/2003 to provide modern high standard holiday homes, whilst retaining many of the original features typical of the North Norfolk building style. The thick walls make for very quiet space which is warm in winter and cool in summer. Situated in approximately one acre, there is ample off- road parking (including space for sailing dinghy if required) and lots of space for children to play in safety.

The cottages are built in an L-shape around a sheltered garden/ patio area with a brick built barbeque. Each cottage is self contained with a modern kitchen equipped with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The lounges are provided with comfortable seating and equipped with TV/video and hi-fi. Master bedrooms have double beds. Other bedrooms have two single beds and in Kestrel and Owl cottages, extra sleeping space is provided on a sofa bed in the lounge.
