Guest house accommodation at the Stables Studio bed and breakfast, near Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, UK
Big skies, enormous history and heritage, Lincolnshire has much to offer. From the seaside resort of Skegness to the port of Boston, Woodhall Spa, and the historic city of Lincoln, one of the UK's biggest counties has a wide range of attractions to suit all tastes.
Central to the village of Martin is the Old Brewhouse which dates back to around 1740 as a farmhouse but later in the 18th century became a brewhouse which latterly supplied the adjoining Chaplin Arms and other inns in the area.
Adjacent to the Old Brewhouse is the stable block which has been sympathetically converted and now houses our main bed and breakfast accommodation which is cosy, tastefully decorated and offers ensuite convenience.

By Car: Stables Studio is on the B1191 in the village of Martin between Metheringham and Woodhall Spa, south of Lincoln. You will find us about 100m past the Royal Oak pub and 50m past the Post Office as you head east towards Woodhall Spa.
Accommodation
Our main bed and breakfast rooms are located within the lovingly converted stable block which is adjacent to the Old Brewhouse. This would have originally housed farm animals and latterly the dray horses which were used to distribute ale produced in the brewhouse.
The option is also available to stay in the Old Brewhouse and enjoy the experience of relaxing in a property constructed in the first part of the 18th century.

Within this history and heritage can be found a small village, rurally situated, called Martin which is 4 miles west of the charming Woodhall Spa. The village is conveniently situated to enable you to enjoy the attractive Lincolnshire country villages and varied coastline.
Twenty minutes away is the historic and lively city of Lincoln and many RAF heritage sites are within easy reach together with an array of excellent golf courses.

Whatever your interests or activities we are sure that you will find plenty to enjoy whilst staying with us in this delightful part of Lincolnshire. Lincoln is less than half an hour away.This is an historic city with its cathedral, castle and quaint streets and waterfront. Take it easy if you wish and forget about parking as buses to Lincoln pass our front door.
