Welcome to Woodleigh Coach House, a Grade II listed building built in 1896, near to Dartmoor National Park and other areas of outstanding natural beauty.
We are a friendly family run Dog friendly Guest House and cafe.and serve delicious home cooked meals and cakes.
All of our rooms are en-suite and have flat screen freeview tv's and hospitality trays. Couples, singles and families are all welcome either for holidays, short breaks or overnight stops..See our web site for special offers and a wide variety of short breaks,such as fly fishing tuition and other activities.
The Coach House has tremendous views over the Devon countryside from 4 of the guest rooms, and a beautiful garden for residents to relax and unwind in.
On the East Wing of the Coach House there is a Cafe; open to guests and non-residents, serving delicious, traditional home-cooked food.
This peaceful setting is an ideal place to get away from modern life and surround yourself with the natural beauty of Devon.There are carp fishing lakes nearby and 2 Pubs within walking distance
Woodleigh is run by my warm, friendly and very welcoming family who are happy to try and make every minute of your visit most enjoyable.
Directions

By Car: From the north, south or east follow the A30 from Exeter, signposted Okehampton. After approx. 9 miles take the left exit for Woodleigh Junction/Cheriton Bishop. The Coach House is on the right towards the village. From the west take the A30 to Exeter, 5 miles after Whiddon Down take Woodleigh Junction exit and follow signs.
By Bus: From Exeter and Okehampton take the X30 or 173 Stagecoach buses to Cheriton Bishop (Cross/Good Knight) and walk towards Tedburn St Mary/Woodleigh Junction. After approx. 1/4, we're just on the left.
Accommodation
The Coach House provides 6 luxury guest rooms. all with en-suite facilities. The accommodation is located on the building's west wing, first and second floors .some rooms with outstanding views of the surrounding countryside.
The top floor boasts a beautiful Grand double room which has a king size 4 poster bed and views from its 4 arched windows. This room can also be used as a family room with the addition of 2 single beds and still has room for a cot as well.with plenty of room left.
Also on the top floor there is a triple room which can be arranged as 3 single beds or as a superking bed and a single.
The 1st floor has four double rooms one of which can be used as a twin or as a superking,. . two others can accomodate a cot. These rooms can also be used for single occupancy
All rooms have been extensively refocused and refurbished with full en-suite facilities.flat screen freeview tv's.and tea and coffee making facilities.

The Cafe#233; is situated in the east wing of the Coach House, with a large terrace enjoying breathtaking views across the Devon countryside. You may like to call in for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea whilst visiting nearby attractions or taking a break from your journey to or from the West Country. There is a daily specials board where homemade dishes such as Steak and ale pie, Chilli. Vegetable Lasagne and Homemade soups are offered. We serve a selection of teas and freshly brewed coffee including cappuccino or latte and of course scones with fresh clotted cream! and home made cakes.
Wide variety of soft drinks available Bring your own wine or beer to have with your lunch or evening meal.
