Set amongst the beautiful countryside, The Great Tythe Barn Accommodation provides the perfect base to explore the Cotswolds.

There are 12 self-catering honey-coloured stone cottages and 12 comfortable en-suite B&B rooms surrounding a pretty landscape courtyard and gardens.

Within the grounds lies a magnificent 16th century Great Tythe Barn, restored sympathetically to include all modern facilities. An established wedding venue for 14 years -it creates a beautiful, captivating setting for a truly memorable celebration.

By Car: From London
Leave London on the M4, drive approximately 100 miles west and exit at Junction 17 onto the A429 signposted Malmesbury. Approaching Malmesbury, continue straight across 2 roundabouts. After the water tower, watch out for left-hand turning (B4014) signposted Tetbury.

From the North
Follow the M5 to exit 13 signposted Stroud. From Stroud take the A46 through Nailsworth. Tetbury is clearly sign posted.

Tetbury is about 20 miles from Bath, Bristol, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Swindon. Folly Farm Cottages are situated next to Tetbury Hospital and about 4 minutes walk from the town on the B4014 Malmesbury to Tetbury Road. Look out for our large distinctive sign by the roadside which reads The Great Tythe Barn & Folly Farm Cottages.

By Train: The nearest station is Kemble, near Cirencester. We can call a local taxi to meet you and bring you to The Folly Farm.

Our self-catering cottages have been imaginatively converted from period farm buildings and have names that reflect their origins. Retaining their charm and character with exposed oak beams, vaulted ceilings and wood burning stoves, each cottage has traditional cottage-style furniture and modern amenities.

The Great Tythe Barn Estate consists of 200 acres of prime land set in the rolling hills of the southern Cotswold conservation area of natural beauty. The historical village of Tetbury is within walking distance, and boasts a number of fine antique shops, as well as delightful "tea-shops" and a number of restaurants and pubs.

The world renowned Westonbirt Arboretum, with its superb collection of rare trees and shrubs, is situated just a short drive away. The Royal homes of Highgrove, Gatcombe Park and Lypiatt Manor are all situated within the "Royal Triangle". Badminton House, Sudeley Castle and Chavenage, are but a few of the numerous castles and stately homes built in this historic area.
