Home

Charnwood Lodge Guest House, Loughborough has been established for 15 years. In 2001 the present owners Liz and Klaus purchased the adjoining property thus enabling them to expand the Lodge, giving their guests more public areas to relax and enjoy their stay in this high quality accommodation with disabled access and more private car parking.

The most impressive feature of the expansion is the dining room which is set in the atrium, furnished with solid oak furniture and a feature water fountain in a small enclosed courtyard. The lounge and bar areas are all tastefully decorated and furnished to suit their surroundings.

Although the accommodation has the convenience of being situated on the A6 only 10 minutes walk from Loughborough Town centre and all its amenities, the tree lined driveway and gardens give a feeling of peace and relaxation.

The accommodation is all en-suite bedrooms which are tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard and include central heating, a colour TV, and a complimentary beverages tray. There is for that special day a four-poster honeymoon suite available.

There are seven ground floor bedrooms including one which is suitable for the less abled visitor with wide access doors for a wheelchair.

All bedrooms are individually decorated and furnished to a high standard, with matching furnishings, and are equipped with beverage tray, TV, radio alarms. Our Fourposter Suite furnished with reclaimed pine is a favourite with honeymoon couples. A full disabled bedroom and ensuite is available.

The tariff includes a choice breakfast menu including a full English breakfast. We also provide delicious home cooked evening meals and can cater for events including christening parties, funerals, and small dinner or luncheon parties.
