The Dinton Hermit Inn, situated in the peaceful hamlet of Ford in Buckinghamshire, close to Thame, Princes Risborough and Aylesbury, is a stylish restaurant, traditional village pub, comfortable bar and has 13 contemporary and newly refurbished hotel bedrooms.
The Dinton Hermit Inn has a high standard of hotel accommodation, comparable to many of the best hotels in Aylesbury, Thame and across the County of Buckinghamshire. This includes 6 newly refurbished Barn Rooms. Accommodation is available on a bed and breakfast basis, leaving guests free to enjoy the delights of the pub restaurant for their lunch or dinner.
The restaurant and bar menus have a range of a quality dishes available, with ingredients sourced locally wherever possible. The bar has a good selection of beers, some locally brewed and there is a fabulous large pub garden. Free WiFi and broadband internet access is available in all public areas of the hotel.

By Car: From the A418 between Aylesbury and Thame, take the turning to Dinton, signposted "Dinton" and "Ford" (from the Thame direction it is the 2nd turning signposted for "Dinton"). Continue through Dinton village. After about a mile you will come to a staggered junction. Go across the junction and The Dinton Hermit Inn is about half a mile on the left hand side. Turn left into Water Lane just as you enter the village of Ford.

The Dinton Hermit Inn is an ideal place to stay near to Aylesbury and Thame, with 13 contemporary hotel bedrooms, including 6 newly refurbished Barn Rooms.
The new bedroom interiors have been designed by Elizabeth Warden and refurbished to a high standard in a classic contemporary scheme to complement the historic nature of The Dinton Hermit, whilst offering our guests the comfort and style they expect. The rooms all feature brand new modern bathroom suites and flat screen televisions.
There are 6 Barn Rooms which are newly refurbished double rooms in the Courtyard, 5 Regency Rooms which are superior double rooms in the main building and 2 superb King Charles Rooms which are the suites, also in the main building.
Please note that smoking is not permitted in any of the hotel bedrooms.

Ford is a quiet hamlet in the middle of the Aylesbury Vale area of Buckinghamshire. The village has a few houses, historic farms and the traditional village pub - The Dinton Hermit Inn.
Buckinghamshire is a popular place to visit for short breaks and weekend breaks. As well as Aylesbury and Thame nearby, London is only 45 minutes away on the train from Haddenham and Thame Parkway station and Oxford and Milton Keynes are only a 30 minute drive away.

Our Head Chef at The Dinton Hermit Inn, has created menus to complement the relaxing and comfortable surroundings of this traditional Buckinghamshire pub and restaurant.
Using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible we have created menus with many regular favourites, as well as specials available for some seasonal dishes.
If you are looking for a restaurant in Aylesbury or a restaurant in Thame, then the Dinton Hermit Inn, being only a few minutes from Aylesbury in the village of Ford is a great place to enjoy a meal.
The Dinton Hermit is open Monday to Saturday 10.00 to 23:00, Sunday 12:00 to 22:30.
Lunchtime food is served between 12 and 2 Monday to Friday and between 12 and 3 on Saturday and Sunday. Dinner is served between 6.30 and 9 every day.
The bar is a comfortable and friendly place to pop in for a quick drink or enjoy an evening in front of the open fire with a meal from bar menu.
A wide selection of wines, beers, including many locally brewed, and spirits are available from the bar and each month we have a Guest Wine and Guest Beer of the Month.
