Welcome to Granny Anne's Bed & Breakfast where visitors receive a real 'home-from-home' experience.
The comments in the visitors' book testify to the warm welcome, luxury beds, great breakfasts and nothing-too-much-trouble hospitality. We have many repeat visitors.
In summer stroll in the lovingly tended garden or unwind beside the charming water feature. There is off-street parking.
The centre of Marlow, a comfortable 15 minute stroll away, is the hub of this lovely Thames-side town, with many great places to eat.
Granny Anne's is also handy for Heathrow and touring locally.

Directions

By Car: Access from the south via the M4, junction 9, and the A404, brings you to the Bisham roundabout.
Take this exit, go through the pretty village and follow the bends 'til you cross the famous Marlow Bridge into Marlow High Street.
At the top turn right into Spittal Street, and at the end of this turn left into Dean Street.
Up, past the Police Station on your right, speed camera on your left and Seymour Park Road, is the 2nd turning on the right.
Granny Anne's (number 54) is about half-way along on the right.
From the north take junction 4 off the M40 and head south down the A404.
Come off at the first opportunity (big roundabout, 3rd exit) and follow signs to Marlow
'til you see an Esso Service Station on your right.
Immediately after this turn right into Maple Rise and after only maybe 100 yards, cross over the crossroads into Oak Tree Road.
Up this and Seymour Park Rd is the second turning on the left.
Granny Anne's (number 54) is about half-way along, on the left.
Just pull onto the gravel frontage and ring the bell.
By Bus: Buses run from High Wycombe bus station
or we can meet you there by arrangement
By Train: To either Maidenhead or Marlow station.
Tell us when you're arriving and we can meet you.
By Plane: Heathrow is about half an hour away. Luton, Stanstead & Gatwick around the hour.

Facilities
To En-suite or not to en-suite
Granny Anne's has a ground floor ensuite bedroom; this can be let with sitting room and kitchenette. There are also two other comfortable rooms, a double and a twin. They are next to each other, on a landing by themselves with a bathroom and WC which they share (but not with anyone else).
We let all these rooms out, either to couples, or as single occupancy.

Amenities
Granny Anne's is first and foremost a home and we are concerned for your comfort & enjoyment as any family would be.
That's why we chose really comfortable beds with seasonal bedding changes and electric blankets in the winter,
why each room has a hairdryer, and we put a bottle of spring water by each bed.
Use of iron and ironing board, and anything else that would make your stay complete, please just ask.
Once you arrive and register, you get your key and can come and go as you please.
Many of our guests are attending functions locally and we often run them there to avoid the temptation to drink & drive.
(We know a good taxi firm to get you home).

Here in Marlow for a special event?
With beautiful All Saints churches at Marlow and Bisham Marlow is a favourite for weddings. And with the Compleat Angler, Danesfield Hotel, and many other prestigious venues, it's a regular place for wedding receptions and other special gatherings.
Many guests stay at Granny Anne's to attend wedding celebrations; some enjoy the opportunity to withdraw from the hectic programme and relax a while.
We often transport our guests to these and other events so that they can leave their cars behind and get a taxi back at the end of the evening

OUR BREAKFASTS
Granny Anne's breakfasts are provided to your choice.
Many are satisfied with cereal, and toast made with our home made bread,
a glass of orange juice and freshly brewed tea or coffee.
But for those who like to 'stoke up' for the day, there's the famous Full English:
~ cereal first,
~ then a satisfying platter of sausage, bacon, egg, mushrooms, etc,
~ followed then with the home-made toast, tea / coffee, etc, etc.
We usually have orange and apple juice on offer.
The tea is made to your direction;
we have a selection of speciality teas,
and freshly brewed cafetierre coffee.
Yummy, no lunch today!
EATING OUT
When it comes to eating out in the evenings ~ what a choice!
Marlow is famous for its eating places: Italian, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, wine bar, pub grub & fish & chips;
Marlow has them all.

THOSE LITTLE EXTRAS
A complementary glass of wine on arrival is not unheard of.
And as well as the tea, coffee & biscuits in your room, there's
a complementary bottle of spring water by your bed, too.
Vegetarian (two of our daughters & their husbands are), vegan, gluten free, etc, etc.
Just tell us and we'll do all we can to make your intake meet your needs.
