Home

Lovett Guest House is a large, comfortable, Victorian terraced home. It is set in a quiet situation close to both the Town Centre and to open countryside.

Lovett House specialises in making people feel important. From the minute you book into one of our comfortable and attractive en suite bedrooms, our aim is to provide you with a warm and friendly atmosphere in which you will relax and unwind.

Directions

By Car: Leave the M65 at jct 13 and follow signs for A6068 towards Fence. At small roundabout on A6068 go straight on, take 1st left (B6249) also called Carr Road. Go under the motorway bridge, then 1st right into Howard Street. Lovett House is at the top of the street on the right hand side, opposite the school.

By Bus: The coach/bus station and the adjacent shopping centre are within an easy ten minute stroll.

By Train: Nelson Station is 1 kilometre away. Turn right onto Railway Street, then left towards Woolworths. Cross the pedestrian crosing towards Althams travel and the Lord Nelson. Go down Market Street, keep left of the library. Left on Every Street to traffic lights. Turn right at the lights down the hill. Go over the canal bridge on Carr Road and take the 2nd left. We are on the right at the top of the street.

Accommodation

All rooms have been thoroughly planned and have colour TV; tea and coffee making facilities; simple cutlery and crockery suitable for a takeaway meal; central heating with additional gas wall heaters (no extra charge). Rooms also have hairdryers and shaver points and full length mirrors. Books, magazines, card/board games, cassette deck/radio alarm clocks will help you while away an idle hour. On the landing outside the room, you'll find a payphone for guests use and an iron and ironing board.

Facilities

We have an extensive selection of free local information and many fascinating books on the local area. A transport service to and from the start and finish points on the circular Pendle way is available, allowing you to return to Lovett House each evening and means you only need a day sack not a huge back pack.
