During the winter months, and especially around Christmas & New Year, many self catering cottages and apartments have spare capacity that they make available through advertising Winter Breaks.

The rates offered during these periods are usually heavily discounted and this package offers a very affordable way to stay in many locations that would be out of reach during the rest of the year. The property may be available on a weekly basis but some may be available for shorter stays.

Be aware that the Christmas Period is usually (but not always) considered to be a peak season for Self Catering cottages so the winter break package is not availble for the two weeks around Christmas and New Year.
