Bargain Break

This is a bit of a catch all and you need to read the offer carefully. There are generally no fixed rules to this type of offer and it could apply to a hotel, Bed & Breakfast, Guest house or a self catering cottage. Essentially, the property owner has a period in the year or a period in the week, when they have a lack of bookings or they are promoting a particular package of accommodation usually with meals included for a specific period.

Each Bargain Break will be a specific package created and tailored by the property owner. For example, a bargain break for a Hotel or B&B may consist of a third night stay free, it may include breakfast and dinner, it could be including tickets to a specific event or it could be a stated rate of discount on booking made in that period or through a specific website. Lots of our clients offer a discount for bookings through Stayinbritain for example.

By all means hunt out Bargain Breaks but make sure you understand what is being offered and included. There are no hard and fast rules about what a bargain break is.

On the Stayinbritain site, there is a section marked “Promotions” on many of our adverts and these will show the Bargain Breaks offered by that property.
