Dating back to 1892 and nestled within ten acres of gardens and woodland, our classic Scottish Country House Hotel offers unique four star accommodation in historic Pitlochry. Many guests enjoy a stroll round the beautiful gardens which surround the hotel and are home to red squirrels and roe deer amid the pine trees.
Situated in central Scotland at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands and The Cairngorm National Park, our hotel provides an ideal base from which to explore much of the country's world renowned lochs, hills, Munros and wildlife. However guests choose to spend their break, they return to the comfort of the secluded Pine Trees hotel, where a hearty meal and drinks, including fine wines and an impressive range of Scotch whiskies, await. The Pine Trees experience promises sheer relaxation.
The accommodation mix at the Pine Trees hotel comprises 29 uniquely designed en-suite bedrooms, allowing us to cater for our guests according to their individual taste and preference. The range includes single, double and twin rooms, including two four poster rooms, one of which is the luxurious Molyneux Suite - perfect for that special occasion. This extra large room with a divide between the bedroom area and the large sitting room area has a 4 poster bed, music system with ipod dock, 2 x TVs - one with DVD player, best available views from the hotel, en suite bath & shower facilities & toiletries, and complimentary tea & coffee making facilities. The Coach House Suites have been created from the original Coach House of the estate and consist of 6 suites situated around a central courtyard. Each suite has a bedroom and a separate sitting room with en-suite shower facilities. 4 suites are ground floor and 2 suites are on 1st floor level. The 4 standard suites have a sofa bed in the sitting room to accommodate a child whilst the 2 larger superior suites have 2 sofa beds each in the sitting rooms. The Coach House is approximately 50 metres from the main building and there is dedicated parking for these rooms. Sofa beds are charged at £35.00 each with bed & breakfast if they are required. For those of you with quiet well behaved dogs, we allow them to stay with you in your room and to enjoy the facilities of the grounds and woodland for a nominal fee.

Our tempting menus offer a selection of classic, hearty dishes, with the occasional cosmopolitan twist, making the most of Scotland’s rich natural larder. With our many of our tables overlooking the gardens, guests are treated to a charming setting from which to enjoy their meal. Unwind in the bar or by the cosy log fire in the lounge and sample some of our finest Scotch single malt whiskies. Our special Pitlochry Theatre Breaks are popular with visitors keen to experience the towns cultural scene, while outdoor enthusiasts are spoilt for a choice of activities, including walking, climbing, fishing, cycling, shooting and golf.

Dundee - Follow the signs for Perth and Edinburgh. A85 to Perth. Join the A9 to Pitlochry.
Aberdeen - Follow the A96, heading towards Inverness. Join the A9 to Pitlochry.
To the Pine Trees: The turning for Pitlochry is on the left hand side of the A9 heading from Perth. Once you have arrived in Pitlochry follow the main street, Blair Atholl Rd. The Hotel is sign posted by the Scottish Tourist Board. Turn right into Larchwood Rd and follow the road round to the next junction. The Hotel entrance is identified by white gate posts on the right hand side of the road.
