The Goodwood Revival
For three days in September you can see the types of cars and motorcycles that would have competed during the circuit's heyday from1948 to1966. This popular event recreates the era from 1948 through the 1966, when Goodwood was the UK’s premier racing circuit. On display are classic cars of all classes, including formula one from the Grand Prix races of the 1950’s and 60’s, including sports cars, GT cars as well as saloon cars.
The circuit has been restored to its original format and participants wear authentic period clothing. No modern cars are allowed within the circuit perimeter.
By car, the A3 from London towards Guildford and then the A283 to Petworth and the A285 to Chichester. Goodwood is situated just outside Chichester. Trains run from London Victoria to Chichester and there are rail se4rvices from Brighton and Portsmouth, buses run to Goodwood from Chichester Station.
