Chatsworth Country Fair

Always held on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday following the August Bank Holiday, Chatsworth Country Fair is celebration of the local countryside and the local crafts. The fair is held at Chatsworth House in the Peak District of Derbyshire, one of the country’s most magnificent stately homes, known as The Palace of the Peak.

The event takes place over three days in September and offers arrange of interest including show ground attractions, air balloons, parachute displays, military bands, vintage car displays, clay pigeon shooting, blacksmithing, and hundreds of craft and trade stands. Over 90,000 people attend the country fair over the three days and it is the largest Country Fair in England.

During the event, visitors have entrance to Chatsworth House and its art collection and to the magnificent Park, the grounds and stunning gardens with the wonderful water features. The Chatsworth Country Fair is always a great family day out with something to suit all interests and ages.
