Held annually in Hyde Park during the first week in July. This festival first started in 2005 and was originally known as the O2 Wireless Festival but since 2009, when O2 dropped their sponsorship, it was renamed as the Wireless Festival. The event takes place over three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) with many bands performing every day. Previous festivals have varied from two to four days. Tickets for the Festival sell out very quickly. The event is organised by Live Nation and sponsored by Barclaycard.
