Set in two acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, our Grade II listed Georgian home offers 5 Star Gold B&B accommodation, positioned a short walk from Kessingland beach and a fifteen minute drive to Southwold; an ideal location for exploring Suffolk’s heritage coastline. We have a breakfast award for the extensive range and quality on offer and our produce is sourced locally. Our guests are welcomed with a complimentary cream tea with home baked scones and handmade preserves. All rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped to a high standard and furnished with antiques in keeping with the property. Our aim is to provide a luxurious, tranquil and relaxing break.

Our Bed and Breakfast is ideally situated for Southwold, The Broads, Lowestoft, Norwich, and The Heritage Coast. Kessingland is the most easterly village in Britain and once boasted to be the richest. Today it is probably best known for its long wide beach and its wildlife park. We are ideally situated for walkers, bird watching enthusiasts and cyclists and can provide ample safe lock up storage for bikes. The peace and tranquility create a perfect space for writers and artists to work.

Double RoomOur large Double Bedroom with ensuite shower room is decorated in sumptuous red and gold. The stunning wooden bed with memory foam mattress topper and luxury bedding adds to your comfort. The window overlooks the formal front garden, where you can often see pheasants strutting across lawns and squirrels chasing up the trees.

Twin RoomOur pretty blue room, with twin beds, can also be configured as a superking bedroom. It has views over the formal front gardens and rockery; a great place to wake up and watch the pheasants, muntjac and squirrels. This room has a vanity sink plus a spacious, private luxury bathroom, boasting a large welcoming bath and separate shower.

All rooms have TV, Freeview, DVD player, radio alarm clock, and hair dryer.  A well stocked hospitality tray, fruit bowl and chocolates help to enhance your stay, whilst fluffy robes, slippers, towels and toiletries in your en-suite shower room, complete the experience. We have a Visit England Breakfast award for the extensive range and quality on offer and breakfast is served in our beautiful dining room at a time to suit you. All of our food and produce is sourced locally.  Our mature, award winning, two-acre garden is filled with an abundance of interesting and unusual specimens. The large lawn is surrounded by a variety of established trees and shrubs, has an ornamental pond and a summerhouse with a suntrap seating area. A variety of paths lead to a beautiful shaded wood.
