WEBSITE

Caebetran Farmhouse dates back to the 17th century and is a traditional Welsh longhouse which has been added to and altered over the years retaining the traditional character of the old building. Caebetran Farmhouse offers comfortable accommodation in a homely atmosphere with great food and an excellent location. The farm stands high on the hillside looking out across a breathtaking panorama sweeping round from Hay Bluff in the Black Mountains to the Brecon Beacons.

Discovering Caebetran is a delightful exploration through winding lanes bordered by ancient hedgerows abundant with wildlife. Surrounding the Farmhouse are 400 acres of open common land, where a host of wildlife can be found, perfect for nature lovers with rabbits, badgers and foxes in abundance. Bird-watchers can enjoy the many species of bird which can be found in this thriving area, including pheasant, red kite and buzzards. Caebetran is a typical Welsh working farm and guests are welcome to explore the farm, watch the animals being fed and cared for and learn what running a successful farm involves.

There are three bedrooms to choose from, each with its own ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, colour television, iron and hospitality tray. All benefit from complete peace and quiet, so guests can get a great night's rest and wake up to the sound of birds chirping.

A Full Welsh or Continental Breakfast is served in the guest dining Room which has separate tables. Fresh local ingredients are used wherever possible.  An evening meal can be provided on request. Visitors can enjoy good home cooking using home produced beef and lamb, and local produce. Visitors are welcome to bring their own wine to have with their evening meal. There is also a guest lounge with colour television, video and stereo, which is an ideal space to relax in after a hard day's exploring.
